One helmet is absolutely unacceptable. Why has this been released with such little content like this? I mean, normally the helmet options and content is awful at the best of times. But this is not acceptable. Extremely poor and disappointing!
It would appear on first glance that liveries, suits and helmets will be drip fed a few per season for those who purchase VIP podium pass. Aswell as buying them in the shop.
Ridiculous but Im not surprised. That the only customisation items that people want will be locked behind paywall. So for 4+ years some people will most likely end up paying for the exact same liveries they did in previous years. I don’t mind games being monetised. But when it’s the same stuff and previous years. Considering WRC and F1 Mobile game have a full livery editor. And what’s even more laughable and obviously a dig at EA/Codemasters… By the F1 manager developers. As every advert I see for that game. They are showing off their ingame livery editor.
AA Studios of late arnt just demonstrating they care about their players. They are also increasingly humiliating the big AAA studios. By realising better games at half the price.

@ScarDuck14 Despite the excuse of the FOM or licenses, it's amazing that we see independent creators (MODS) making F1 or helmet liveries in just a few days. Mclaren's special SENNA livery at the Monaco GP was included on Sunday on Racedepartment. When you see that developers take months to add this kind of thing, it's serious. Especially since the demand for personalization has been dragging on for years . But there will always be excuses between this and that... 🫤

Any response to this Codemasters? Are we getting anything added? 1 helmet is absolutely disgusting!! Not even any pre order bonuses or champions edition extras for people who paid £89.99!!
Why is the ‘store’ empty?
At least give us the amateur looking designs from past games. It’s better than nothing….- 8 months ago
I would assume that this year they've gone and locked them all into future podium pass lineups so you have to earn them or buy them with points. Last year it seemed like almost all were available from the start if you paid points for them and through earning them in PP but this year with so few beign released at the start I have to assume it's to try and get the players to keep actively playing longer into the game life cycle to earn them. I'm encouraged by what I see with the first 3 liveries though, at least they resemble something that would be run on a car and all the lines and different color sections don't seem to interfere with the sponsor placements. I'm certainly not a fan of the cartoony/arcadey liveries, I much prefer ones that look like they belong on the race track in F1 instead of something from some silly mario cart style game.
