Why isn't Colapinto part of the F2 lineup in 2024?
Hello, a fairly simple question. Shouldn't Colapinto be part of the lineup for 2024?

I’m a big F2 fan and try to watch every race live on a Grand Prix weekend. I’d rather they included the current F2 2024 content at launch. I already had the 2023 content on last year’s game. I just paid £89.99 for the new game, it should have the new content…
It annoys me that we have to wait 4-5 months after buying the game to get the rest of it. Start a project earlier and ensure the game is complete!
I would have hoped to see F3 added by now, for a complete career mode experience and an additional 30 drivers for My Team and driver academies. But after all these years, they’re still struggling to give us F2 on time.
in terms of Driver swaps mid season; why not include both drivers and have the player choose which one they want?
Sports Update is realsed and Sargent is still in F1...
It really does show that nobody thinks these things through….
You can still select Logan Sargaent as your FanZone driver despite him no longer being in F1….😂
Can we sort that out? Maybe have Colapinto as an option to swap out in the Williams?
Can anyone from EA/Codemasters address this? Should be simple enough to swap out Sargaent for Colapinto, right?

- @SDGMatt Sargeant and Colapinto drove more than half of their respective seasons. Also, it wouldn't make sense to have Colapinto in both F1 AND F2.
And trust me, you would not believe how often I asked for an option in F1 23 to swap between Nyck de Vries and Daniel Ricciardo for the AlphaTauri seat, because de Vries clearly drove more races than Ricciardo or Lawson (10 out of 23), and EA SPORTS just blatantly ignored it. So they clearly won't delete Sargeant to make room for Colapinto or add an option to change it.
If anything, they could do a compromise that I also suggested for F1 23 - they simply could add the new driver, Colapinto in this case, to the roster of free agents so other teams can hire him. Wouldn't have been too difficult to do if you ask me. And they could have easily done that in F1 23 as well - keep de Vries in the AlphaTauri and just add Ricciardo to the free agents. But no, instead they deleted de Vries out of existence and denied that he even was in F1. His section in the compendium is still there, but now it just acts as a memorial.
But that's why I bought a disc copy of F1 24. If EA SPORTS do the same mistake twice in a row, I can just go offline and install version 1.00 to undo everything they've done. And right now, I'm also looking for a cheap disc copy of F1 23 to bring Nyck de Vries back to life. 😇 Hello, I'm here to report a problem that hasn't been fixed for months, Colapinto is still not in F1 24. We've had many races and many patches and it still hasn't been fixed, this has to be fixed quickly because the championship is about to end in real life and we still don't have Franco Colapinto in F1 24. This complaint is shared by me and many other players who were excited to get a career mode with Colapinto in Williams and with each patch you release we are more and more disillusioned until we lose hope. Guys this is f1 officially sim but where are new driver Lawson colapinto,and the new car version bodywork and new livery?? This is no accettabile on the official title f one!!!!cmon ea please update this splendid f one sims hi 👋
So with Lawson, as he was a reserve driver they are not put into the game. As such the team have no face scans or anything to put in and trying to sort this so close to the end of the season may not be logistically possible.
As for Colapinto, as he was part of the f2 update its likely he can’t be an f1 and f2 driver in the game. Plus, any saves that have Sargeant would have to be changed and im not sure if that is possible
- @EA_Groguet Could you please ask the team whether Colapinto and Lawson are coming into the game or not?
I think many of us want to know that. Given they never made the change mid season in previous versions (as far as I can recall) why would they do it now? The contracts signed with the FIA and FOM may not allow it, I remember Codies saying they had limitations put on them, or it may simply be they would have to spend too much effort bringing the, into the game when the other driver was there for longer.
Whatever the reason, it is not likely to happen.
