Game crashes on career mode and GP mode.

I recently bought the game on Steam, and after about two hours of play, it started freezing and then crashing without any error codes or explanation. Obviously, I tried to refund the game, but Steam couldn't care less that I couldn't play it at all since I had 4 hours of play (2 of which were spent trying to open the game btw). I can race just fine in qualifiers and some FPs, but it always crashes when I'm about to start a race. I've also had it crash in the middle of one. I've searched everywhere for solutions, and absolutely no one has any idea what's going on. It's been over a year since the game came out, and it's still having these kinds of issues in non-online mode. LMAO. Luckily, I bought it on sale, but no one has given me back my $10, which was terribly wasted. Luckily, I bought it on sale, but no one's going to refund my terribly spent $10.
