G923 FFB locks up when G535 USB dongle is connected (PS5 F1 24)
description of the problem I’m experiencing a reproducible haptic feedback issue in EA SPORTS F1 24 on the PS5 Slim when using a Logitech G923 steering wheel. When the Logitech G535 LIGHTSPEED USB dongle is plugged in, the steering wheel’s haptic feedback becomes extremely stiff, as if ‘stuck’, and loses its usual vibrations. The steering wheel still works physically, but the haptic feedback is unusable (a single constant and extremely intense force). My setup Console: PS5 Slim Game: EA SPORTS F1 24 Wheel: Logitech G923 TRUEFORCE (PS4/PC version used on PS5 via backward compatibility) Headset: Logitech G535 LIGHTSPEED Wireless (USB dongle) Connection: both devices connected via rear USB ports on PS5 Steps to reproduce 1. Unplug all USB devices from the PS5 2. Connect only the Logitech G923 3. Launch F1 24 → haptic feedback works normally 4. Connect the Logitech G535 USB dongle Once the headset is detected, the haptic feedback becomes extremely stiff / ‘stuck’. It’s really annoying... Expected behavior Force feedback should remain stable and consistent regardless of USB audio device connection. Actual behavior Steering wheel becomes extremely heavy Loss of vibration FFB feels “stuck” or overridden Only fixed strong force remains Issue disappears when G535 dongle is removed and wheel is reinitialized Further information The issue does NOT occur with PS4 games (tested with WRC and F1 2019) The issue occurs consistently on the PS5 Slim Restarting the USB devices temporarily restores normal operation Conclusion This appears to be a USB device interaction issue between Logitech LIGHTSPEED audio devices and force feedback initialization in F1 24 on PS5. Hope I will help people if they had this issue too. :) Matias21Views0likes0CommentsAt start up, driver intros, Press Menu button. Nothing happens, then repeats

I was directed to post this issue here after talking to a chat agent. (Playing on xbox one) This issue first started yesterday when I started and completed half a race, and then it was fine when I opened the game again today and finished the race. It was also fine in each session after (practice 1 2 and 3, and qualifying) until the next race. I'm playing in career mode in f1 24 on the xbox, and I went to do a race and I noticed the sound of the engine was way quieter than usual, but i hadn't changed any settings/controller/headphones and the volume was at maximum. I googled it and apparently this is a known issue but I wasn't finding many fixes. At that point the issue was only in the race too. When I went to the next race weekend and went into practice it was fine and then I tried a fix and it made the issue carry over. I also tried changing settings according to what people said might work but nothing did (most stuff was already on those settings) The fix I tried was to go into xbox, select f124, then manage game and add ons, and then saved data, and delete reserved space (not the account specific ones, just reserved space) I hope someone can help somehow! Hey racers, Following last week's patch, an small number of PC players have reported some unexpected behaviours and changes to their previous setups. Following some internal testing, re-generating a new set of Hardware Settings is recommended as features from the v1.14 (such as AMD FSR 3) may have caused some setting combinations to experience issues. This can be done simply by deleting the hardware settings files that are locally stored on your PC. After deleting, F1 24 will create new hardware settings files. The only data that will be lost from deleting these files will be any custom graphics settings you may have changed. All other save data will be unaffected. We will be updating F1 24 in a future patch to guard against issues such as these from recurring. Here's how to find and delete your hardware settings file: If already running, close F1 24 On the storage device you have F1 24 installed, go to: Users\YOURNAME\Documents\My Games\F1 24\hardwaresettings Delete both the hardware_settings_config.xml and hardware_settings_info.xml files Re-load F1 24 Should you wish to change the graphics settings again, you can do so from F1 24's menu screens. If you are still encountering problems, please be sure to check our PC and Wheel Troubleshoting Guide here and follow the steps listed, including checking that your graphics drivers are up to date. Additionally, please see the Technical Issues pages on EA Answers for users that have reported similar problems. If your problem is yet to be reported, please create a new topic of your own. "The splash screen which can be described as the F1 logo on a black background appears for ~1 sec, after which it disappears. After another ~1 second, the EA APP comes back into foreground. The game doesn't boot, I am not asked to boot the VR or normal version of the game (I assume this is still a thing since F1 23 had it). Video attached". The EA App take the time like if you were playing. In my case I have 3h 23min and couldn´t pass the splash screen. The video is from Adr Junkie. F1 24 keeps DISCONNECTING from lobbies! PLEASE HELP ever since last Sunday every time i join a race it says migrating host and everyone disconnects. I get invited, join back, race for 2 min then it disconnects me again every time. This is only happening to me, and has happened in every single race i try. This cost me a win in a tight league season already, and has made we waste 5+ hours in the past few days on races i cant compete in. Please help ASAP or I will lose all my leagues and have no incentive to keep playing with such unstable servers. I have tried everything, redownloaded game, redownloaded steam, EA app, reinstall anti-cheat everything! When i go to reverify game files in steam it always says 3 files failed to validate will be reacquired. I have reinstall network adapter drivers, even used external network adapters. I have changed wifi settings, firewalls, everything on the internet. Even using a DMZ wont fix this issue, ive been begging EA for help and they wont respond come on guys this is why everyone is leaving the game so unacceptableomarmo33 months agoSeasoned Newcomer612Views3likes4CommentsF1 24 Can't play online. EA account required.
Playing on PC/Steam So i have a problem where i can't play F1 24 online. When i start the game and it finishes loading it says "EA Account required". So for some reason I have been logged out or I can't connect to EA servers, not sure which. Or it might be something else, who knows. What I have tried so far: 1. Verify integrity of game files. It comes back with 3 files that needs to be reaquired, but they won't download, cause when i try to verify again it still says that 3 files need to be reaquired. 2. Cleared Download Cache in steam, then repeated step 1, still nothing. 3. Change DNS server. so i've tried changing DNS servers to google's DNS 8.8.8.8 and 8.8.4.4. Still no luck. 4. Completely reinstalled EA Anti Cheat. I have downloaded EAAntiCheat.installer.exe from EA's website. Then uninstalled it from the installer, and then installed it again for F1 24, and then rebooted my pc. And yes I have turned off the Anti Virus before doing any off this. Did not work. 5. Downloaded the EA launcher, logged into the account which my steam account is linked to, checked library to see if the game is in the library (it's not), started the game from steam to see if it might pop up in the library then, it did not. 6. Completely uninstalled the game, then reinstalled it. Still does not work. So i'm a bit stumped as to what the problem might be or what i can do to fix it. Any input is greatly appreciated.Shlinkz123 months agoNot applicable4.4KViews3likes23CommentsCan,t Launch F1 24 (0xc000009a)

hey, I have a problem with F1 24. While racing or exiting from watching replays, the game suddenly crashes and kicks me out of the game. Has anyone had a similar problem? I've already tried "Repairing" the game through the EA launcher and it didn't help I also tried updating the graphics card drivers and... It's still the same :(. (Graphic card is a Radeon RX 7600).56Views0likes0CommentsBlack Screen and only selection menu appearing
I am experiencing a persistent issue with F1 24 on my system, which has an Intel ArcXe GPU, 16 GB RAM, and runs Windows 11 (build 26100). Upon launching the game, the screen remains black and only the MFD is visible and the menu. I have performed multiple troubleshooting steps, including a clean uninstall of Intel graphics drivers using Display Driver Uninstaller (DDU), reinstalling the latest WHQL Intel driver version 101.5333, forcing the game to run in DX11 mode, clearing shader caches, and applying recommended launch options. Despite these efforts, the game still fails to display correctly, suggesting a compatibility issue between Intel Arc graphics, Windows 11, and F1 24. I would greatly appreciate guidance or a fix from EA to resolve this problem.190Views0likes1CommentBug in presentation lap

Hello EA bug fixing Team, I discovered, after purchasing a lovely special on Steam and installing F1 24, that the game is not currently supported on Linux, via Wine, Proton or any of those amazing technical feats of software integration and emulation. This seems to be quite an oversight - in fact one might consider it an extraordinarily huge problem - calling it a "bug" seems to diminish its enormity. I have heard, around the traps, that it is related to anticheat. Be that as it may, there should be adequate support for the game to play on all systems, including Linux. I would just love to play my copy of F1 24 on my Linux PC. Would suggest this is the case for the myriad steam deck users and other Linux users out there also. Please add support for Linux. Hi There, I am playing on an Xbox One with F1 Manager 24 1.11 in Create-A-Team mode and when I go to Gameplay Settings, I do not see anything other than team radio options and career difficulty options for Car Dev and Race. Where are the other options? The same is in Display, I only have the Gamma slider, nothing else. Where are the HUD or OSD settings? I don't see them anywhere.
