I applaud them for trying something different given how stale MyTeam was. Remember F1 manager also didn’t let you create a driver and you were only the owner and we were all clamouring for something like it. They thought career mode would handle the driver focused crowd.
Yes but the difference is F1 manager is manager game by core so it makes sense not have yourself as driver while EA F1 is more about driving and the main reason of myTeam success was Owner being a driver as well so it doesn’t make sense to remove it when they could’ve just given us an option to pick either
Yes your right about F1 Manager, but in F1 Manager you can't drive the car. You just have to manage the team. So no need to have a personnal driver. In f1 25 it's dufferent. You have to drive the car. It's the basis of the game. In my opinion we need a personnal driver to be added in the option of the MyTeam. Personnally, i don't like to drive instead of real driver. I want to fight with them with my own avatar and my own car/team... And now in Myteam it's no longer possible. Why they remove the possibility to be owner and driver??? It's a shame. it was cleary better before for that even if the new featuresof Myteam 2.0 are really good and complete.
