Apparently the wet races issue is because of player tire temperatures
Just seen this post on reddit that suggests that the AI being OP in the wet is because of a problem with tire temperatures on the inters and wet tires https://www.reddit.com/r/F1Game/s/bs312abiSK Maybe it can explain the problems were having?
VR voice commands - Working
Although it isn't quite ready to release, so far it's really helping with the in-game menus, and the on track commands, meaning it's less fiddly to get stuff done. Lots more to add, and our beta testers are continuing to make suggestions on what to add. It is slower than keys, however, it's useful to find your way around when in VR, plus it gives vocal feedback for each command. You can use commands like "DRS~", "Overtake", Show temps" and so on. No driver progression in myTeam
My team has Tim Tramnitz and Callie Mayer as Drivers. And while Tim slowly crawlöed from a 62 to 68 in 1,5 years (collecting places 19-22 since the beginning) my selected driver Callie Mayer doesn't even moved one of her stats. Its the same 87 with the same sub stats since the beginning. Why do the stats of the selected driver never change? Is it intended or a bug? Yeah at the end those numbers are just numbers without any impact, like in career mode, but who does the driver which the player choses to play dont ever have even the slightest progress?F1 25 Pad handling
Ea, pls this game isn't enjoyable for us pad players, we want a change to this handling because us pad players we don't like how the handling is compared to f1 24 or 23. Can you give us f1 24 Handling because so many pad players enjoyed the game and we want it, many people including myself have stopped playing this game due to the handling being bad on controller EA.... One job, fix handling make it like f1 24 pad because it was great and I was confortable with it
F1 25 rain scenario
They have to do something about the rain, the drops on the visor are annoying to the player's vision, unrealistic, they look like heavy and giant drops of glue, it has to give that immersion again like in F1 2017, 2018, 2019, when the drops on the visor had a direction where you were driving, the game itself is fine but the rain is terrible, horrible please change that.Done with the game until you fix the wet weather.
Racing for points at Hungary, good battle for 8-11th places, everything is going fine. Then the rains came and my entire race went for a you know what. Suddenly on inters the cars I was having a really solid battle with are 2 seconds a lap faster than me because even with TC set to medium I can hardly keep the rear end of the car under me out of corners while the AI sprints off like it’s dry and I end up in last place. Nearly every event this season has had some sort of rain session, aside from the desert ones though I am a little surprised at even that. It’s okay in practice, and funnily enough in qualifiying, sprint quali for Spa was inters and I managed a top ten lap time. The problem comes in the race where the AI doesn’t seem to actually be affected by the rain on corner exit while I am doing everything in my power, including exiting a second gear corner in 4th gear, and still getting wheel spin. So, until someone at EA/Codemasters wants to address this real, actual issue with the game and give the player car the same grip as the AI , or at least the ability to turn rain off entirely, instead of giving us fancy McLaren liveries and other junk we don’t need with the game in this state it is in, I think I will simply give it up as pointless and move on to something else.Suggestion to improve Career Mode immersion
It would be great to bring back interviews and add a social media system similar to EA FC. The choices made in interviews could influence rivalries with other drivers and even affect how the team views your signing or potential transfer. Social media could highlight transfer rumors and the public’s reaction to the team’s performance, while cutscenes could give more weight to key career milestones such as the first podium, the first win, and the first championship title. The main point is that Career Mode needs much more immersion. Right now, it feels very shallow and quickly loses its charm after just a few seasons. Even when the game becomes repetitive and less engaging, if we still push forward, reaching major milestones results in little — or sometimes nothing — happening. This completely kills the motivation, as it makes achievements feel meaningless and shows that not even at the peak of a career does the game manage to surprise. Please, EA, consider adding features like these. They would bring far more excitement, realism, and countless extra hours of fun for us fans.Do you know what this game needs?....more tire spray in the rain!
Oh the lighting, the reflections, the shading, the shadows...have so much improved over the years. So have the choices in racing games. Only in the F1 series do you get a full array of pit crew, garage, installation lap, and even the podium celebrations. Meanwhile, this game has been slowly going away form tire spray during rain periods. 2010 to 2013 were nearly half of what would exist in a real rain race. There were mods to increase tire spray from the wet track. Then by 2017 or so, there were none. There are none now, to increase tire spray and lessen forward visibility. It is a factual occurence in wet/rain races. Don't go away from it. As it stands in f1 2024, even in full wet conditions, I can clearly see the 5 to 6 cars ahead through what is now considered full tire spray. Can we get more? Can we have the option to have more tire spray. I understand that it is graphical detail that may reduce performance in some PC machines. But, for those of us who have invested in capable machines, can we have a choice to have more tire spray? It is only realistic. I appreciate this has been mentioned countless times on this forum but it seems like the issue isn't being acknowledged or addressed so.. can one of the changes PLEASE be implemented on career mode in regards to the weather: 1) More realistic weather patterns. Rain comes up way too much on tracks that have never seen rain. 2) The option to turn rain off completely. Why is career the only mode you cant do this? 3) More competitive AI racing in wet, ie: more AI errors in wet conditions etc. If you're going to insist on unrealistic weather conditions always coming up, can you at least make the AI racing in these conditions more realistic? More driver error etc. Because the differential in terms of how easy dry racing is vs wet racing is way too much. And yes I know wet racing is meant to be harder, but this should also be reflected across the AI's performance. Got to the point where I cant play career mode anymore because having wet races every other session just isn't fun under current conditions, which is very frustrating as I like all the other elements of the mode. Seen so many people on here complain of the same thing but no solution incoming seemingly? PLEASE FIX!
F1 25 won't let me connect to Multiplayer lobbies
Tried everything I can so far, checked game files (steam), downloaded the newest updates, restarted the game/pc, turned crossplay off and on again, switched network settings to DNS, uninstalled and installed the game again, turned my firewall off but it still just kicks me out of the lobby with no error code whatsoever and puts me into a lobby by myself What else can I do to fix it?Ideas and wishes for future F1 titles
Dear EA Sports F1 Team, I would like to share some ideas and wishes for future F1 titles that would make the game much more authentic and immersive: 1. Character Editor – similar to EA FC, allowing players to create highly customizable drivers. 2. Expanded Helmet Editor – the ability to design custom helmets with personal sponsors, driver numbers, and name initials, not just color selection. 3. Improved My Team Livery E ideas and wishes for future F1 titles ditor – full creative freedom to design custom liveries instead of only adjusting colors on preset templates. 4. Bring Back Interviews – for Driver Career and My Team, with the option to turn them off if desired. 5. Voice for Created Drivers – short standard voice lines for radio communication with the race engineer as well as during interviews. 6. Commentator – like in EA FC, covering teams, overtakes, fastest laps, crashes, and penalties. 7. More Realistic Team Atmosphere – deeper interaction with engineers, pit crew, and management in the paddock to make the career mode feel more alive and closer to real Formula 1.
