Re-release APX GP team
Dear, beloved EA! From the bottom of my heart, I ask you to bring back the APX GP team. A huge number of people who watched the film and weren't involved with the franchise until then fell in love with the sport, and I'm one of them. I, like many others, didn't know about the limited availability of APX GP until July 11th, but I still bought the Iconic Edition of F1 25 because it's amazing! But I beg you, I implore you! Hear us, your fans, and give this team a chance to everyone who missed out on it. We will support you and reward you with gold if you release this DLC with the team! Give the fans this opportunity, I beg you!
F1 25 - 2 player career - wrong starting grid bug
Hello, I’ve been experiencing a glitch in f1 25 two player career with my friend and what seems to be happening is that on the formation lap we are shown different grid positions and once completed it will put us in the wrong positions it seems to happen after one of us gets a penalty in qualifying. For example in Miami SPRINT qualifying my friend got a 10 place grid which he served in the sprint race. However come the Main Grand Prix after me qualifying p14 and my friend qualifying p2 but on the formation lap I was shown what the grid should look like and my friend was shown a random grid that was not the result from quali there were no other penalty’s from any other drivers and the grid was completely random. After the formation lap the game reset us into the random grid order therefore resulting in an unfair advantage for us. Below I have outlined an image of my friends starting grid compared to mine. if anyone could help resolve the problem OR if EA could acknowledge this problem and help me or fix this bug it would be appreciated. It s quite annoying when it happens as it makes the game unfair. Thanks Omar
F1 25 (26 DLC) whishlist for multiplayer
Can you please work on better multiplayer experinace. Suggestions: Add daily/weakly 50% races with pits stops and setups Better system for ranking (safety and skill ratings) and matchmaking It doesn't have to be iRacing like, but we would love to have some more structured multiplayer races. Create scheduled races which start every 1 hour, so we can sing up in lobby. That would save the game.
Fanatec Xbox SDK with Recent "F126" News
Back in April there was an a post marked "solved" saying that the SDK would not be implemented for F1 25. At the time it sounded like the logical next step would be a standalone F1 26 release to have this feature released. Now that the EA have confirmed F1 26 will be delivered as an update to the current game, I'm wondering if anything has changed on the xbox SDK front? Live Start Points for Career Mode
Coming into the final race of the real world f1 season, i would have loved to been able to create a career mode with a live start point (similar to what they have recently added to FC26) with options on where in the season i would like to start, whether its back in Baku, and stop Oscar from crashing or in Zandvoort to see what would happen in Lando's engine didn't fail. So I bought the game on Steam, I downloaded it yesterday, I want to play it, so I start it, everything loads, but suddenly I get an error: ea javelin anticheat, I try to fix it by reinstalling the anticheat, I try some tutorials, but nothing works, until I get to the point of reinstalling the game, and unfortunately, after reinstalling it, it still doesn't work and I get this error:VR Quad views/FFR
Hi Codemasters team, I’m running F1 25 in VR with a Pimax Crystal Super headset and an RTX 5090 GPU. Even with this hardware, maintaining stable frame-rates is challenging — especially on high-detail circuits like Monaco or Singapore in wet conditions. The Crystal Super’s dual QLED panels produce an incredible image, but the pixel load is immense. Other racing sims, like iRacing, have implemented Quad-Views or Fixed Foveated Rendering (FFR) via OpenXR Toolkit or Varjo/Pimax extensions. These techniques render the foveal region at full resolution while reducing detail in peripheral vision, producing 30–50 % performance gains with minimal image trade-off. Adding Quad-Views or FFR support in F1 25 would: Unlock much smoother frame-rates for high-resolution headsets (Pimax Crystal / Crystal Super, Varjo Aero, Quest 3 Link). Reduce CPU/GPU load without affecting cockpit clarity. Future-proof VR performance for F1 25 and beyond. Thanks for continuing to support VR — the experience is already impressive, and quad-view support would bring F1 25 to the same optimization level as other leading sims.
[Suggestion] Add Jack Doohan as a free agent
Hi guys, after having successfully resolved the problems I have encountered with the Colapinto update, I thought I'm going to create a post with the suggestion I mentioned in said post. Now, I know that Jack Doohan won't come back to Alpine, and it's understandable to bring in the replacement. However, as compensation, there's one thing that the developers can do, and I hope this applies to future games as well. The idea that I have is as follows: For Driver Career, if a driver swap happens in real life and the driver gets replaced in-game (in this case Jack Doohan), there should be a dedicated free agents tab for these drivers. There doesn't need to be a reserve driver or anything, just the drivers that are already in the game and got replaced. This would therefore allow the player to play as Jack Doohan in new saves, and AI teams can still hire him should the player take control of anyone besides Doohan. For My Team, in new saves, the replaced drivers would simply get added to the driver market as a free agent, and they would also be available as a possible choice when starting a new My Team career save, just like Colapinto back then. This is a very important addition in my opinion, as the drivers that got replaced would still be in the game. Simply deleting them makes the entire game completely unrealistic, as they clearly were a part of the real F1 season, even if it was for a short time. The thing is, the same mistake has been made with Nyck de Vries in F1 23. Instead of either adding Ricciardo to the free agents or replacing de Vries and adding him to the free agents, he just gets deleted like he never existed. Sometimes, staying true to the real world also means having all drivers available that participated in a Grand Prix. Again, none of the reserves need to be added (getting the licensing for them would be a pain), only the main drivers that were swapped out. Let's hope for the best. - Nico
My Team Custom drivers
the new my team structure is very good but my only disappointment on it is you cannot create custom drivers for the team as well as the lack of emblems. For the emblems we have the podium pass and store for sure. But for the drivers it would be amazing to create our own drivers. I understand it’s for realistic purposes but seeing button, DC, mika, senna and Schumacher on the grip is a bit far fetched on my opinion where if we could add drivers to the my team using the driver career mode would be more fun possibly or just just a flat out 2 new drivers also is there still no update on the consoles fix for radio to the engineer?? The controllers have built in speaker and mic now and is it possible to use them to be able to talk to the engineer ??
Physics are terrible
Is it just me or are the physics just again very iffy. On corner entry just under and oversteer at the same time, you instantaneously overdrive the car on the exits it just snaps on you. It feels the same as f1 22 with the sliding im getting. I found that time trail setups are a bit better but you can really easily exceed the limit, and so have to be really careful how you drive.
Improvements for leagues on F1
Hello, A few small things for the F1 26 DLC. - In lobby races, add a "Pit Retirement" option so the car doesn't reappear from the pit lane. These cars can cause accidents or Safety Cars even when the driver has retired in the pits. - The ability to record an entire race and switch to a different driver to see their on-track actions (for console players) - Being able to choose your pit box when you drive a personal F1 car
