F1 Legends In Two Player Career Mode?

My buddy and I have done 2 seperate career modes now and have come across f1 legends in both of our career modes trying to avoid them. I have tried to find a setting to turn them off and only have rookies and driver moves but cannot find this setting. Please help I can' find anything on how to fix this.
