Flying laps launch

I'm not sure if this is an issue or a settings thing … in previous F1 games when you launch into a flying lap... the AI will control the car until it reach a straight and lights turn to green

Now the game launch while the car is in a turn.. and ur supposed to immediately take control... no AI control... and keep crashing!!

If it's a setting thing... not sure which setting can fix this… So can someone help ?
