Start grid in 2 Player coop career issue

After doing a one-shot qualifying in 2 player career, the start grid for both the sprint and race did nit match qualifying. The starting grid was each team side by side. We had APXGP p1 and p2, then redbull p3 and p4, McLaren p5 and p6 etc...
