I was very sceptical about buying this years game but so glad I did its the best by far in recent years really enjoying it only issue I have is driver ratings I'm having yuki getting pole and winning races red bull need dropping in performance and a lot of drivers are very overrated and some really low that are way better just a simple update will go a long way and will doohan be swapped.
I'm not sure when they plan on providing driver/ car performance updates, but they did mention in another thread that there are not currently any plans to swap Doohan and Colapinto because Alpine is only listing the move as temporary.
They rarely change the driver line up when the swaps are in season.
Thankfully they're not swapping Doohan for Colapinto currently as it's classed as a temporary change. I fully expected it to be permanent but Franco has been stinking the bed so much that it seems a wise decision to hold off on that as he'll be heading to the gallows himself if he doesn't fix it over the next two races. Although, I expect the lack of alternatives mean he'll keep the seat unless someone like Perez fancies a go.
Speaking of Colapinto. A 78 rating? Jeez. There's been a predilection to pulling ratings out of the backside that are hard to justify but I can't see how they came to that conclusion at all. He's shown nothing remarkable in junior formulae since beating nepo kids and noobs in Spanish F4 and he had half a season last year alongside Albon who seemed like he'd forgotten how to drive. Maybe the car was tricky but I wasn't impressed with Franco then and i'm even less so now. No idea why he's way ahead of the other young guns.
Like you said, Yuki seems to be too good but Max is always running away with the races in my experience. Lawson seems overpowered in the races i've done where he's always solidly in the top 10. Antonelli always qualifies around 15th on mine and finishes around 13th. I expect people are having similar experiences and most of the irregularities are common sense.
The ratings are definitely off but they do fixes throughout the year so i'd expect changes soon, but nothing too drastic and they won't fix too much.
