A Quick Question

I've bought a Thrust master F1open wheel.

Any advice on the set screw as it looks jury rigged to me and I'm hoping some of you have a little experience to share before I do something stupid.

Thanks in advance!

    @BadMayh3m I tie as much as i can the steering rim to the base, and then I tie all the way in the screw. I go thru all the way the thread part on the steering rim.

    Have done it for the past 6 years on all thrustmaster, from t300 to t-gt using standard rims up to more expensive 250 gto rim or sf1000 rim. Never had a single problem.

    I think you'd be more likely to get helpful responses if you edited your thread title to something more descriptive like "Thrustmaster F1 Wheel Question". I assume you've tried looking for YouTube videos that might show this wheel being mounted to see what looks normal?

    (I use a Thrustmaster T300RS but not with the F1 wheel.)

    @Ultrasonic_77I was just wondering if there was something that only experience can teach about any difficulty using said screw.
    I bought the wheel used and it has 2 small holes in the threads suggesting possible problems.
    Also on You tube there are many different adapters which again suggest an issue with the screw.
    Just trying to get a heads up but your right I didnt think the title through.

    Do you have the screw and if so any problems to speak of?

    @DavidG53 Thanks for the info!
    I'm pretty sure I'll never change wheels so hopefully once and done.

    Again thank you.
