A simple question RE: AI
Is the AI meant to be the same across all game modes, as in is it the same AI on the weekly event as it is on Grand Prix, Driver career and My Team? Or are they different?
@AEF251
I thought it should be the same across all levels, as we always hear how hard it is to train AI around 1 track, so to have different AI across different game modes seems a bit of a stretch. I'm passing the weekly event at 90+ but can't win a race in GP mode on 75 in a Merc. So which AI do you think I should use in My Team, because I can't work it out?
I found the AI pretty consistent across all tracks but the street circuits where I need to drop it by 5 and I believe My Team and Career are close.
I would use the lower number and see if it seems realistic, you can adjust from there if you are too good.
OR
Be Verstappen or Hamilton’s team mate in career, allow the team to control the R&D and set the calendar so it starts at a race like Imola or Spain and see how you do compared to the best for that one race weekend. After the first race your car and your teammates start to differ more but maybe the second race is close enough you can use that results too.
Then start your My Team based off that.
My AI is set at 70, should be probably 75 for races but that seems right for qualifying, except at Monaco, Azerbaijan, and Singapore where I need to drop it by at least 5 to feel more realistic.
Since I use full assists except for steering, DRS and ERS, my driving should be more consistent from track to track so it is easier to see the AI variations.
Ai is different in driver career and my team as all teams have 2nd driver facilities which all ai drivers benefit from.
Red bull, Mercedes’ and Ferrari all start with spec 2 so their drivers get plus ten to exp/racecraft/awareness/pace and focus boost
When you start a career The ai drivers start with the boost to their ratings . It doesn’t show on the rankings. But top teams drivers stats are pretty much 100 100 100 100
