Here is an example of how OP the AI seem to be out of slow corners and onto long straights. Ocon was 0.8 seconds behind at the start of the straight and passed him by the end of it. https://youtu.be/ZJA73JKlmjE?t=350 At around 5:50 in this video
@VemundVemund I had the exact same experience shown here on Xbox Series X using a pad. It seemed to start happening after I changed the difficulty settings and the AI straight line performance is now like this regardless of which difficulty level I choose. They are crazy fast all the time.
