Actually this looks massive. We would need to know the AI level but mostly the setup used especially about wings, according with David Greco the AI should use 8-18 (the default for Austria) and make the comparison, or ask to try again maybe with the same setup. I am still a little behind with the new game, in the next days I will do some tests personally with the AI.

Update

I may be wrong as I haven't directly raced AI yet, still learning the game, setup etc. but I did some easy test around Bahrain in which I'm currently training and here the results:

• AI default setup at Bahrain has wings 8-18 (AI110 1:27.8 - .9 in Quals)
• the current Playstation WR no aids  25-21 (1:27.2 TT)
• my current setup is 26-23 / 26-22 (1:28,0 TT)

Having saying that just some speed test in the main straight during a Qualifying session:

• AI (8-18) with Red Bull 330-331 km/h
• myself with RB using the same setup as AI (8-18) 330-331 km/h too
• my setup (26-22) 322-323 km/h as in TT, it means a bit more than 1 tenth lost at the end of the straight

According to this the speed itself would be ok, so the issue would look very related to the default setup which runs too low wings and cannot be used by the human player (I tried 8-18 but the car is very lazy in the corners).

If that's right the story should be different track by track, for example at Monza the default should be 5-15 if I well remember, while I run 0-0 in Time Trial, not sure it will be equal to my future race setup but not expect to go higher than 1-1 or 2-2 so I should be much faster than AI in the straight this time.

Anyone can confirm this?

@DavidG53 don't know if it's your matter and/or do you think presets may be modified to be "more similar" to human setups?
