@Nuvolarix Its a problem with 100% strategies, it doesnt think its fastest but still suggests it and AI follow it, really stupid
@Meza994 these are the fastest strategies (simulated by the game itself) with all new tyres available.
This is after patch. Please ignore S-M, it's just me calculating if may be possible to run it, even if the game wouldn't allow.
The point is: they may even be faster running alone, but we know track position is important as well IRL (and in game too), the previous version of 1 pit stop strategy by the AI was looking better. At least I would really avoid 3 pit stop strategy...
- @Nuvolarix Oh yeah you are right, didnt think about having already altered the grip level to realistic difference between compounds (1.6-1.8% instead of 2%) which actually make 1 stops at tracks like Canada slightly better..
Yeah idk why they made it this way, i mean if the gaps were right AND we had even an extra medium available it would probably say M-M-H more often than S-S-S-M..
Also i tested the wear on all tracks and Bahrain, Spain, Japan and Brazil have definitely too little tyre wear and im very sure Canada, Austria and COTA too although with those strategies probably not as much difference for Canada and COTA..
Yeah that the game is not properly accounting for track position while suggesting 3 or 4 stops is a known problem.. Might be better though if we had extra Mediums or Hards but dunno It should be m m h or m h but struggle instead of s s m because you never seen an f1 team run two sets of soft this year as they are a terrible race tyre. Their was a mod last year that corrected AI strategy and hopefully they mod it again.
- @Slaystecke Cant mod in tyres that arent there to choose from.. You are also wrong its only Mediums and hards for most tracks, all tracks featuring the C1 as hard tyre barely see it like Bahrain and Spain as its too bad
