That's not even the worst case scenario: I just DNF'd because I lost the rear end, and race winner Carlos Sainz had a fastest lap of 1:13.396. Just as a reminder, the fastest real life lap time in a race in Canada came from Bottas in 2019, a 1:13.078.
And guess what, I put the AI down to 71 for the race, which is supposed to have them go 9 tenths slower according to the AI Level Formula that we have. 3 levels higher, and Sainz would have matched the real life record. That's absolutely insane, if you ask me.
I understand if Codemasters say they up the difficulty with every game, but this is the first example of overpowered AI I have ever encountered in F1, and the second case in total, the first case being Gran Turismo 7.
I think I will stick to level 60 until an AI patch comes out, because this AI Pace is insane.
