You're doing it wrong? Are you adjusting it in conjunction with car setup?
Could you post up a displayed image, not a link, of your calibration?
Are you new to the series? How long are you playing? Are you oldcore? What about ye ol platypus features? Is he still trolling?
Or did he give it up? Ah, the good ol days, the good ol days!
Are you thinking I've posted to say I personally have an issue with the handling in F1 22? I haven't because I've not bought/played it yet! Understand though that the change re. low gear torque/acceleration is coming following discussion between David Greco and the F1 teams, not because players of F1 22 were complaining. The change was planned pre-launch.
My personal view is that if F1 teams and drivers think it will make the game more realistic then I want it.
I seen the interview with Alex Gillon and David. I think it was you that linked it. It was good, very informative. But to my understanding from watching real F1 poles, Max and Co is slower through the corners and more careful on the throttle upon exit. I feel it is fine but if the majority feels there is an issue then something has to be done. This is bigger than you or I.

Have a search for Lando's views based on actually playing the games and you'll see he clearly views this as an area the games are unrealistically hard. His peddle cam view from Silverstone is informative too.
Lando must be a very heavy footed driver. Tell hime to use the linearty on his pedals or tell his engineer to stiffen/soften the pedal travel.

I was watching some of a PSGL race last night where the commentators were saying that basically nobody every goes below 4th gear with the game as it is currently due to the atlow gear torque/wheel spin issue.
Who gives two flying hoots about what Jarno and the esports want?
There is far more players than 20 or 30 rich spoilt brats.
There is too much focus on them. If the devs spent less time trying to pacify them and fixing issues and accommodating others it would
be much better for all.
Lets get real, not one of the esports players are a part of the community here at EA.
They dont give a hoot about us. If I was to never see the
F1 esports tab ever again, it'd be much too soon. I'd much prefer the F1 life feature, it was a breath of fresh air.
Apart from Brendon L, L Blakely and a few others, I dont really see much all.
I'm not on about race pace or skill, I'm on about being a decent kind human being.
I made no reference to any driver complaints but rather I mentioned something that the commentators said, which tallied with what the drivers were actually doing. That the very best drivers don't feel able to consistently drive faster by using lower gears and so stick to 4+ instead rather suggests to me that there is an issue but you will obviously draw your own conclusions.
Dismiss Lando's comments if you wish but personally I'll still place significant value in them. Note he is an F1 driver with a keen interest in sim-racing rather than him just being a driver having a quick go on a game for a laugh. Several other real F1 drivers expressed similar opinions on the game when they were racing on it during lockdown too, with the general view being that medium TC was closer to reality that TC off.

I could care less about Lando Norris. I'm not one bit interested in him.
As for the esports players, the next thing they will be saying is that they want a free wind tunnel packaged with the game in order to feel the g's. They dont even play in cockpit view and then whine and moan and whine some more about realism.

Absolutely nothing I've posted related to feedback from eSports drivers.
Do you have any interest in real F1?

Little or a bit. Might watch the highlights on the youtube.

Little or a bit. Might watch the highlights on the youtube. That was the impression I was getting and somewhat explains your disinterest in what the real F1 drivers and teams have to say. What draws you to the F1 games when the real sport is of little interest?
- @Ultrasonic_77
Your impressions are wrong. We followed it from the late 70's early 80's. Playing the F1 games 30 or 40 years. All of them, even the EA ones in the early 2000's.
We had interest but its all TV packages now, its hard to see a full race and get into it properly. Sky packages, sky sports costs a fortune.
We used to watch it all the time, buy the offical F1 magazines, all the games, now I can barely afford the games. To pay the electricty bill will be tough this coming winter. AI STRAIGHT LINE SPEED is a big big problem for the Career Mode.
Please fix it!!!
