It’s obvious the AI isn’t obeying the same set of rules that we are. When you spectate them, they hardly use ERS yet are able to pull away from me in the straights. I’m fighting with 10% ERS in the last few laps, while they’re running at 65% and unleash it all in the last lap.
They don’t suffer tire wear or damage. The only thing they suffer is a blown engine here and there.
At lower difficulties, the AI falls off towards the end of the race, but they are idiots on the track. Once you hit 60 and above, they’re unstoppable.
