I had a similar problem with the sprint race.
Got to the Austrian race weekend in a multiplayer two player career:
- The order of the race weekend was wrong (practice x3 -> sprint race -> GP).
- We've set the race distance to 25%, the GP is 18 laps and the Sprint race should have been 5laps, but it was the same as the GP (18 laps).
- On the last lap of the sprint race, engineer message played through the radio to notify that we hadn't used our allocation of tyres for the race (there shouldn't have needed a pit stop?). My friend finished the final lap and got DSQ from the race, all the other AI drivers went through the finish line and got DSQ too. I pitted on the last lap, came out of the pits and was also DSQ. There were only 5 AI drivers who weren't DSQ'd and they also received the full GP points allocation (25 for the win etc).
