I used to be a big fan of a certain old football manager game from the Dreamcast era, so naturally, as a fan of F1 myself nowadays, the new manager game should've been a no-brainer.
Except I'll pass, all because one simple fact - I could not build my own team like the MyTeam mode in our game. The game is literally born for that feature, yet they don't have it, a real shame imo.

Hello @Apophis-STR
Yeah, the football sims I remember them. I think Codemasters done some. I think LMA or something.
How come they dont incorporate a "My Team" feature? That would make sense, its more personal and may generate more sales.
In F1 22 the my team mode is a good feature. Its well done.

@ALittleTiger7Damn, Codemasters actually made football manager game before?
The ones I played were part of the Sakatsuku series (at the time I was still living in Asia), I think it started from Sega Saturn, but I've only played their Dreamcast and PC installments (and PS2 & PS3 ones for briefly).I've had some really good memories with these games.

Codemasters did them in the 2000's. You'll see them on the youtube. A friend of mine played them, he liked them. I never played them, I was at the F1 at the time.
I never heard of sakatsuku but then I'm not familiar with football sims. Maybe Sakatsuku could get a reboot?- Apophis-STR3 years agoSeasoned Ace@ALittleTiger7 Yea Sakatsuku is definitely not very well-known in the west. I believe they're still making it, but the newer installments are very different from the ones I played.
