yeah, ive been trying to fix this for a couple of hours, ive given up now, hope they push an update today addressing these issues
I have been doing quite a bit of testing and have found the performance-related issues to be a result of my wheel. The game runs great using a controller, but as soon as I try to use my wheel (CSL DD with V3 pedals) the game has huge performance issues. These occur in massive FPS drops and sound drops, culminating in-game crashes. As it stands, the game is unplayable with my driving equipment. I updated the graphics driver, set the sound quality to very low and even set the graphics settings to their lowest - nothing seems to be able to make the game playable with a wheel.
For reference my PC: 3700X, RTX3070, 32gb RAM, and the game is installed on a fast SSD.

doesnt seem to be a wheel issue for me (t300rs gt) even with the wheel disconnected i get these issues
- 4 years ago@TheAfrican308 Yup, disconnecting the wheel gets rid of the problem. Power it back on and the audio starts glitching out again.

@BoonjaminBC If you can connect your pedals and wheel together and just have one cord running to your PC - this seems to be a temporary fix. It helped me (I have Fanatec gear), and the game is now playable.
- 4 years ago@TheAfrican308 I already do. It's all Fanatec gear so everything is plugged into the wheelbase.
Oddly enough, playing in VR doesn't run into the problem. The audio is perfectly fine in VR with the same wheel setup. So I dont really know where the issue is.
