I'm having this issue as well. I'm on PC (Steam). Automatic shift does not shift up "automatically". It drags the gear for a second until it shifts up or the user shifts up manually. This effect is immensely affecting gameplay, as performance and lap times are affected. This was confirmed to be brought up regressively through 1.06 update, as I played 2 days ago in the same circuit (I used the Mid-Game save) and there is a big difference in playability. Must get fixed ASAP, please CodeMasters.

I have same issue, also on Steam. I tried to rectify it by upshifting manually but I am not used to it so it catches me out more often than not.
and I upshift sometimes too early and skip gear which is probably not a good thing for gearbox lifetime :/

I was in P4 at the Spanish GP on MyTeam. I used the mid session save option, after the update I was a full second slower and ended up finishing P10. When will this get solved?
