This is nothing to do with EA, and everything to do with Codemasters. They've had utterly awful bug fixing priorities since the 90's, and that hasn't changed one iota since EA bought them up. It hasn't gotten any worse, and in some cases it's actually gotten a little better, because now they have someone standing over them, shouting, and threatening to fire them.
