Same on the PS4, it makes racing extremely difficult at a point where i decided to play F1 2021 again because of the issue, it’s almost impossible to avoid hitting the barriers in Monaco, and I’m surprise that this bug report is not getting any attraction from the dev team yet..
hopefully this gets fixed the in the future patch.
I have the glitch on xbox too, this game is completely unplayable with this glitch, and its sad how long its taking to fix
The time they are taking to fix such a massive glitch is unbelievable
It's in the "Awaiting Patch" section in the Community Issues post. Now, there are some items in that section that have been in there since the post was first written, but it's also possible that the next patch is ready and waiting authorization from Sony and Microsoft (and whomever else), and that it may contain the fix. At this point, without word from Codies/EA, we just can't say whether or not the fix is in.
It was kinda fixed in the 1.09 update today.
Gears 1-5 still rev up to 12000rpm before it shifts up whereas before they mostly shifted between 11500-11700rpm.
I hope they can still tweak this and return it to how it was pre 1.06
