I hope they remove it. That chicane is the devil!!!
Much preferred Spain when they didn’t have it. Think it was installed in the interest of safety back when they introduced grooved tyres.
@ScarDuck14 From what i remember the chicane was brought in for 2007 to improve the "racing and overtaking".. It actually did the opposite which was notable after a few years but they kept it for so long😂
- @Meza994 I thought it was brought in to slow top speeds down. But I defer to you on this.
- @ScarDuck14 Might be both to be fair, especially as the "small run off area" was always brought up as a reason why they cant get rid of the chicane, so possibly it was also a reason why they brought it in
Great news, hopefully it will make its way into the F1 23 game. The chicane is not that fun to drive, I always enjoyed the faster Version in games 👍
