Black Boxes obstructing braking markers in Miami

I noticed in Miami the black boxes that are used to display current conditions on the track are placed in the wrong area at the end of both straights immediately in front of the 150m boards. Looking at the real track on F1TV at turn 11 the box is placed behind the 100m braking marker. There is no box present at turn 17. At turn 11 that box makes it very difficult to see the 150m markers in certain times of day/lighting. In a race it's not that bad but in Time Trial I was struggling to see it until I realized it was hiding behind the black box.

Also in real life turn 11 has braking markers from 250m down to 50m. Turn 17 has markers starting at 300m down to 50m and the braking markers on both sides of the track. These are prime overtaking zones and having the extra markers present and on both sides of the track would be very helpful.

Overall I love the track in Miami and think they did a nice job on it. I was at the track in person and the vibe and look was captured well. I would love to see these little things corrected at some point.

  • Check out Marcel Fischer (not Kiefer) on youtube. He likes the same attention to detail as your good self.

Maybe you've heard of him, he's at the kerbs and stuff.

Its nice to have the details but probably hard from a development point of view.

What do you think of the game overall Hansen? Would you 5 star it? Which F1 game do you think was best?

@ALittleTiger7 Since it was released arguably prematurely I would not rate it 5 stars yet. I can definitely say I like the handling with 22 more than 20 and 21. I like how the brakes feel this time around. I'm locking up a lot less and driving better than ever. The PU sounds in the driver's mix sound amazing.

The cars look fantastic and the 3 track updates are great too. I hope the tracks that have not been updated do as well later this year but the big ones have finally been addressed.

Once the torque update is applied and the suspected straight line speed advantage the AI has is sorted out I would give it a 5. Better FFB on with Logitech wheels would be nice and apparently that is being addressed as well.

F1 Life and the soundtrack stuff I do not care for but easy to ignore.

We like it post patch. We had the screen freeze issue. The handling is like a new breath of life. It feels good. We dont mind the throttle update or whatever placebo effect it has on our unruly Gripper pad.
Whatever will be will be but for the life of me I will never understand how this is affecting a wheel user.

JD, limitless F1, has a video titled: Fastest I've been since 2018.
How come he is not complaining. In 2018 he was knocking on the eSports door. I'm sure he will be delighted to hear it's gonna change.

Me personally, I could care less. But I stand by my word.
Give me the F1 life tab anyday as opposed to that F1 eSports scam tab.

Hopefully in the future EA can focus on the real problems that people have instead of focussing on Jarno's highly expensive pedals and his obsession with beating the 110 AI.

In general I'd give it a 5 star. I was going to give it a 4 but then I seen the F1 eSports tab was missing and I reconsidered.
