The same problem was encountered in F1 2021 and F1 22. They didn't fix it at 21, there are doubts that they will fix it at 22...

  I have the same issue since F1 2021, I reported it on the codemasters' forum a few times (full bug report with video) but they haven't done anything to fix it. They just don't care. As with most of the bugs.
