Yes, me and my mate played the game in 2 player coop career (PS5, concretely the French GP) immediately after the patch, when this bug occured for me for the second time!
Hello, unfortunatelly the glitch is still in the game even after the patch. We tried to run our coop race today and my friend still has this bugged strategies. Like no stop and pit in lap -2 or stint without any tyres. We started the race by me pressing the start and after the countdown the race started despite him unable to start it manually becuase "he didnt select the mandatory tyre". The AI then started to go to pits in lap 4 for new softs then 3 laps later again. We run 25% race in Canada so there is really no point for all cars to change to new softs every 3 laps... (the damage is off). I really really hope you guys can fix this asap because me and my friend bought this game for over 70 euros just to play coop. I as a coop host dont have this bugged strategies and disqaulification threat at the end of the race just my friend and AI.
Sounds like an issue with the coop career when playing via PS4/PS5, and crossplay PC-PS4/5. I only play career on Steam, never had the issue. I also know other content creators never had this issue on PC either like Ben Daly and Alex Gillon.
@PCCariocait's a shame what they are doing with us... I havent played the game in month beacause of this and they clearly do not care they are loosing customers like this for next game. If anyone has some solution that might solve this issue please share your ideas. I will remove the sprints from my calendar if they are the issue but I dont have any other idea
Im sorry dear EA-Team,
this bug is known at least since december and makes the only feature, that lead to a purchase, useless. It makes this mode unplayable and you didnt manage to fix it in 5 months… if the company I work for would work like that, there wouldn't be a company left.. not even an Update on the issue. So Tell us: what can take so long?..
