It’s so incredibly disappointing that this is still not resolved? It’s been going on now for way to long and is seriously impacting the integrity of any two player career games.Can anyone from EA please confirm that this tyre bug will at least not happen in the next game? And a solution has been found? With 6 sprint races in 2023 the same tyre bug problem would be a calamity.

@PCCarioca they wont fix it I think. We are too close to the new game and there are lot of couches, lamps and carpets that they need to add to it so they can add Vegas and this seasons F2 in November... The standarts really dropped for the game this year and its such a shame. Only solution I have is to just scrap sprint race weekends from the calendar. We tried both selecting the harder tyre allocation with extra hards and it did not work.

@Adamg1110 Erm. Ok so I believe a fix for this was in the last patch. But it appears to have not worked as intended. Link below is Tiametmarduk latest co-op video. It now appears the Ai suffer the same issue😞 I’ve asked if it can be looked into again. in the mean time the only workarounds I can think off. Is either skip sprint races as mentioned before or the human player who doesn’t have the problem adopt the same 4 soft strategy. So everyone humans and ai alike do a 3-4 stop race: Not ideal but on the bright side there’s potential for some fun racing with so many pit stops. 🙄😇 Also maybe a idea to select softer tyre selection so you have less worn softs come race dayhttps://m.youtube.com/watch?v=v5p_8unx-HM

Thanks for the info, much appreciated. I just hope it’s fully resolved for the new game? By definition the problem would be effectively doubled due to the increase to 6 sprint races.

I just bought this game to play two player career, and it's literally unplayable.
We cannot start the race for miami because my friend has no mandatory tires to select from after the last sprint race. They were also unable to do practice 3, as they had no tires there either.
Now I find out THIS BUG HAS EXISTED FOR 5 MONTHS????
EA come on... I just got burned with battlefield 2042 that always crashed when sundance is on the screen with the radeon vii graphics card.
Quality going downhill. Too busy making F1 23 to fix newly introduced game breaking bugs in F1 22?
Edit: turns out you don't get disqualified if you use the default strategy, though it's still a major disadvantage

@IanM282Problem is EA know as much as us. I and EA community staff flag the issues and they get passed onto Codemasters: Which they say they are aware and working on it.

As bug fixing has been an issue on this years game. EA are taking steps to better bridge the communication gap between EA bug reporting and Codemasters. For F1 23

In years gone by bug reporting was done in codemasters own forums. This year is the first time they haven’t done so. Unfortunately for whatever reason it hasn’t worked out so well.

If you have passed the bug on, and they say they are aware of it, and after so many months it has not been fixed, then the issue cannot be blamed on the forum change.
The issue isn't even listed as being fixed.

Is the game even being developed anymore? It seems EOL with no further updates. The post hasn't been updated since February 17.

Im sorry dear EA-Team,
this bug is known at least since december and makes the only feature, that lead to a purchase, useless. It makes this mode unplayable and you didnt manage to fix it in 5 months… if the company I work for would work like that, there wouldn't be a company left.. not even an Update on the issue. So Tell us: what can take so long?..

@DaveMoose It's still in the game in F1 2023 so if you only get it for Co-op don't waste your money. Happened again in Miami without the sprint this year too
