Can’t change setup on 2 player career (cross play)

Summarize your bug Can’t change setup on two player career throughout race weekend. Seems to happen in 2nd half of season as this wasn’t a problem until Belgium and Dutch grands prix. We have parc ferme off, are playing cross platform (ps5 and steam), driver contracts

Steps: How can we find the bug ourselves? Play two player career, cross platform, driver contracts and get to Belgium/Netherlands. Probably won’t allow you to change setup at that point
What happens when the bug occurs? Can’t change setup
What do you expect to see? To be able to change the setup at any point in the race weekend (provided parc ferme rules etc)
Me and my friend completed the Hungarian Grand Prix without Setup problems. We loaded up Belgium and it would not let us change the setup, even in practice sessions. We were locked on balanced. This same problem has happened for the Dutch Grand Prix too. I am host of that 2 player career and I haven’t changed any settings so I’m baffled as to why this is suddenly happening.
