Can we now edit track order and races in career mode? Portugal and China included

@gladystonff Sorry unlikely, he will have only used tracks that are in the later part of the real season.. Look at the date, it starts in june so it suggests that he simply skipped all the previous tracks in his smaller calendar.Btw i dont like how he advertises "the new data" thats 100% the same as in 2020..

@Cpayne32 Depends on if it changed from 2021.. In the trailer they showed the GP-mode track selection under the "career" banner, so it could mean that we have the same freedom now in career mode. Could also be a mistake and mean nothing. In 2021 we were forced to the order the tracks were in in the first place. So even if you pick Bahrain last it would be the first track.I can see the problem especially in shorter seasons you need to assign races to specific weekends so the game can actually tell when to have its season breaks (which it should never have but "its by design"🙄) etc. Also a way to do this would be a bit lengthy as you need to assign up to 22 races to a specific weekend (even if the potential race weekends are fixed its still 22) which is quite a bit of time..

@Meza994 Seeing as we can choose the tracks we can race on in career mode I don’t see why we can’t change the order. Who knows, maybe it will influence the real life season. And I’d rather have pre season testing in the game than what they have added this year

I think it would be important if there could be a clearing up because I really want to know if I can make Australia the Opening Race and Brasil the final race

@Meza994 Well that’s a shame. Gives us an idea of what we want for F1 23… not that we already have a list of many ideas already

@gladystonff I believe so. I didn’t really try much in 2021 but I knew you could change which tracks you did. I think it has something to do with the order you select them but I could very much be wrong

@Meza994 Yeah I mean if we can choose which tracks we can do in a career mode you would think we could change the order. As for having season breaks would it work based on the real life season break dates (full season at least and then maybe scale it from there

@Cpayne32Its definitely possible to do, just a question of if Codemasters want and are allowed to implement it
IMO season breaks shouldnt be a thing at all, real life teams work all year (a bit less in the forced summer break) but the whole thing gets easier to predict when you know as a dev that the available weeks in a season is always the same, no matter the calendar length or layout. Also pre season testing helps with giving the long time in winter some use 😉

@Cpayne32 FOM is not always logical in their decisions.. Reducing the importance of supercars in the game is the best decision by them in a long time.. Agree on what you say completely though

If it works like last year, no. Although China showed up in the list, you could only select it for year 2 onwards and only in the weekend spot it was originally scheduled for.
This is a feature though that I’ve been begging for for years. So here’s hoping.
