Career Mode is MISERABLE to play: Weather, Fuel and AI

I have to rant:

1, Weather - I am getting wet qualy and wet races constantly - the AI do not appear to be affected by wet weather in any way - they don't lose grip, don't lose tyre temp and are somehow perfect, even superhuman, in the wet.

2, Fuel - all of a sudden, I am required to over fuel the car by six or seven laps. I have played F1 games since 2015 and NEVER have I had to do this. Lift coat and short shift DO NOT save fuel at anywhere near enough a fast enough rate to reach the end of a race. If you don't over fuel the car, therefore hindering yourself due to the amount of extra weight you are carrying, you can't get to the end of the race. The fuel is ticking down by about 0.05 every couple of seconds so in a 50%, I am running out with about 5 laps to go.

3, AI - every single year they are blind. The ram into you and send you flying into the barrier without taking any damage themselves.

4, Inconsistent difficulty level - there are tracks such as Baku, where the AI appear to be in a spaceship travelling at a billion times the speed of light in comparison to what I can apparently do even though I am able to match them at other tracks.

For context: PC, Fanatec F1 Esports wheel and pedals, no assists, full qualy, 50% races, playing since 2015

I only play career - and have done for many years and yet the game still somehow manage to make the experience utterly miserable.

I truly hope a different company buys the F1 licence because I can not stand Codemasters any longer.
