Cars can be allocated the same grid starting slot
Product: F1 22
Platform:Xbox Series X
Summarize your bug Cars can be allocated the same grid slot when starting a race, so spawn on top of each other. They are also asked to return to the same grid position after the formation lap
Which area is the bug/glitch in? Driver Career
How often does the bug occur? Often (50% - 99%)
Steps: How can we find the bug ourselves? I'm almost certain that this is 100% reproducible in co-op career if both drivers take new engine components and start at the back of the grid (in our case we both took a complete set of engine components). However, I don't think that is necessarily the only way to reproduce this issue, and I believe one player in co-op career can end up on top of an AI car in particular conditions (maybe if the AI acquires a grid penalty). Video evidence for both provided.
What happens when the bug occurs? Two cars end up overlapping in the same grid box. Upon completing the formation lap, both cars are asked to park in the same grid slot.
What do you expect to see? In all circumstances, all cars on the grid have their own, unique grid slot, based on race start order (after penalties applied).
