CE-108255-1 PS5 F1 22 MULTIPLE GAME CRASHES

Summarize your bug I have experienced multiple game crashes while playing league games with my friend. I have looked in the PS5 log and the error code is CE-108255-1. I have re-installed the game and re-built the ps5 database as suggested to no avail. My other games do not provoke the error. We have been unable to complete a 50% distance season. Having raced France, Hungary, and the Netherlands on at least 3 occasions with the game crashing well into each race we have decided to go back to F1 21. The last straw was when the game crashed before I got into second gear at the start of our 4th go at Zandvoort.

Which area is the bug/glitch in? Multiplayer
How often does the bug occur? Often (50% - 99%)
Did you have cross-play enabled? Yes
Steps: How can we find the bug ourselves? From the bug reports submitted from my ps5 crash screen? Server side error logs? League CM#_LQWQDW
What happens when the bug occurs? Crash straight to PS5 error screen ce-108255-1. Unable to re-join event, my league co-player also dumped out with host migration error NR15
What do you expect to see? I would very much like to complete a season on the F1 22 title.

    @Pharmatoise It’s a slim chance it’ll work. But try disabling all rest mode features and select never put in rest mode. Then restart console. Don’t boot console from rest mode. Rest mode causes Some games to crash.

    @ScarDuck14 Thank you for the potential workaround. Another user in another thread is blaming ray tracing for the same error code. Hopefully there will be a fix in a future patch for PS5 hardware, otherwise I'm not feeling the value proposition. Especially when voice control is not supported either to talk to the pits.

    @Pharmatoise Could be ray tracing. Or combination of both.

    Whnd PS5 launched the console had serious issue with Rest mode. A lot of games would crash with rest mode features enabled. Would also randomly put PS5 in rest mode and Worst cases would result in bricking the console.

    Even though Sony have said they have fixed it. There are reports that rest mode continues to cause games to crash. Albeit not as often or as severe, 3 games I know it has crashed are COD Cold War, F1 2021 and F1 22. Interestingly all 3 can be played at 120fps.

    I have rest mode disabled and games all run great. On occasion I’ve reset settings and forgot to disable rest, I realise when a game I’m playing crashes🤷🏻‍♂️
