Change forum ID

Is there any way to change my forum ID to the one I used on the CM forum without having to create a new account?

    Head into the menu up top on right hand side, click on your name, then EA account, basic info and it should contain your EA ID. There the can change your name which will change your EA name and also forum name.

Edit your basic information

  1. Go to your EA Account and Billing Settings.
  2. Click on the About Me tab. 
  3. Click Edit next to:
    • Basic Information to update your EA ID, Display Name, Real Name, and Date of Birth. 
    • Email Address to update your email that we have on file.
    • Regional Settings to update your country of residence or language.
  4. Type in the code we send you to confirm your identity, then change away!

    Thank you @EA_Barry @TotosHeadphones but when I do that and enter 'Lurtz' as my ID it comes back with 'ID has already been registered'. Now of course, it is quite possible that there may be someone else who has registered 'Lurtz'........but is it possible that my CM ID has been ported across to EA when the forum was moved......or when EA took over CM?

    One way to find out would be to search for 'Lurtz' in the EA community and see what comes up. Is that possible?

      @Lurtz_Uruk-hai You can search by tagging the name. Funny enough found lots of lurtz 1-9 and lurtzzz etc but no lurtz on here

        @ScarDuck14 Thanks....and I am sure I could do that (search by tagging the name)....if I knew how too 😳
