China and Portugal

So they should have excluded China, Singapore and Japan from F1 2021, if that is to be true.

People like you are the worst. Those tracks were originally planned but were cancelled due to covid. China and Portugal are literally not on the calendar whatsoever, why on earth would they be included in an official F! game?
- @Plummered Simply because they teased people with very strong hinting at extra tracks and showing those two tracks in the gameplay trailer

Whilst EA claims they were removed for realism purposes there are a lot things included that aren't realistic such as every track has the option of a sprint race, the option for shortened qualifying sessions, shortened race distances etc. These are things included in the game for the sole purpose of player enjoyment. I cannot see a reason for codemasters adding 2 tracks to a build of the game and then including them in multiple trailers just to simply remove them and state they won't be in the game.
This has EA written all over it as they are obsessed with any extra penny they can make as a result I imagine in a few months they will release a bonus tracks DLC and charge people £10+Let's see what comes next and how they will do it. Personally I would really appreciate more tracks. Hopefully also available for my Team season 2,let's see.
There will always be one side demanding it for free, because the game is expensive and others that say it's ok as paid dlc because it demands additional licensing directly with the track owner,unless EA reuses or relizenses older seasons and use them in some way, like the current moto gp game does.
Nevertheless, I hope to see them soon in game and hopefully other tracks too.

Why not?
They could be used in TT/GP/Online.
Not to mention like last year china could be used in both career and my team. However couldn’t be used in current season but available to swap in from second season onwards
