China and Portugal
Why aren't China and Portugal included in the actual game after being advertised in the features trailer?
You can see them both here on this video

Making a new track (Portimão) and releasing it in October 2021, to just throw it away now, would be stupid.
So they shouldn't have bothered?
As above there is a good bet Portimao will be DLC for F1 22 anyway.
Yeah exactly, it was an early build but it's featured in the launch trailer with all the final car models.
Looking kinda sus, @EA_Hux .
So in post 4 of this thread the EA guy has just confirmed Portugal will not be in this years game at all even by DLC by what he says as they are 'not on the calendar'
I don't think that's true personally. My take is that the post was just explaining the launch situation rather than ruling out future updates.

Only sense of China and Portugal not being in the game is that we'll have to pay for them later, it wouldn't make sense for the tracks to appear in the launch video and then disappear.
It's makes sense for them to be post-launch DLC but true if free or paid for. Lee Mather spoke about how the post-launch addition of tracks in the game help to generate new interest and the same would be true this year.

I believe that somehow they will be in the game soon.
My guess is deliberately it won't be for a few months, to generate fresh publicity later on, but only time will tell 🙂.
