@alex75ran I concur Alex. A few months ago I reverted back to TV Pod view, just for fun, and boy was it WEIRD!
Albeit, you definately see more in TV Pod view (ahead (much further ahead) side, etc) but being that high was just so strange, and unrealistic (fake).

What you guys are describing are the effects of playing with a different point of view and different FOV's. Tons of materials online on how that can make it "easier" as it alters our perception of speed, among other things.
The physics and the handling run by the game are exactly the same irrespectively of camera choice though.

@mariohomoh I totally agree.
The FOV of Cockpit view has just increased my enjoyment of the game, ...but I'm sure that the car handles just the same whether in Cockpit or TV Pod view.

I for one love camera movement related to road surface. Like track camber and elevation. Turning them on in GT7 increased my enjoyment (and laptimes) significantly! A bunch of players swear they just make them slower though. It just shows how there's no one size fits all.
For an even more jarring comparison, just try lapping your favorite track in Chase cam 👌

I may have to try cockpit view. I've always used the T Cam mainly because it gives the broadcast view as seen on TV.
Edit: Just tried cockpit view for the first time and I really like it so I’ll stay with it from now on. Very immersive!
