@ScarDuck14 Well you could still beat the teams close around you, I guess it also depends on what upgrade you have chosen at the start.
I usually took rear downforce and drag reduction, these really give you a good start.

@Apophis-STR Yeah same: rear downforce and double drag then chassis for facilities and minor weight reduction before Bahrain.
Engine if I have any spare points I upgrade ers. But I only upgrade engine during first season if I got massive discounts and spare points.
Focus on weight reduction then drag then distribution and downforce. Your not winning championships in first season so I plan ahead Getting chassis and aero to top spot: second season best engine and powertrain and durability facilities. But still only upgrade engine parts if I’m losing time on track.
