Apparently if you go to F1 22 Community-Raised Issues, you'll find that they believe they have fixed the lack of trigger rumble on Xbox controllers with patch 1.07. Which is ABSOLUTELY FALSE. It's FAR FROM FIXED!
Fix this crap already!
Just in case you are stoopid enough not to pick up the issue, here's a video of me explaining it:

Hello EA.
This is your daily reminder that the issue is not yet fixed!

Is the problem fixed yet, no. Reminder!

Is anyone from EA looking at this forum anyway? It doesn't seem like it..I work in a similar company, and we take the community feedback VERY seriously.
The minimum I expect for them is to REPLY! Share you empathy and give some information on what are you doing about it.I personally have that problem on PS5 split screen.
Others have it all the time in different machines and controller.
Seems like a core issue in some FFB microservice or something like that.
- 3 years ago@StefanKrunic97 For what is it worth, I just tried this same test, both on Series X and on PC-Steam. I used Elite 2 controller on both and then also tested normal Series X/S controller on PC and also Dualshock.
I felt the vibrations in both scenarios, wheelspin and locking up during braking in all of those combinations of controller/system. On xbox, it feels the vibrations from wheelspin and locking up are on the triggers only (and on that controller, the strenght of the vibrations is clearly higher in general than on normal Series X controller), but on Steam it seems to be both, on triggers (slight) but also on the main controller rumble. In any case, I felt the game giving feedback about wheelspin and locking up just fine.
Dualshock I guess don't have trigger rumble, so it was just the controller rumble, but again, felt the feedback in those two scenarios. It rumble wasn't that strong, but I didn't have hard time feeling it either.
As for feedback from other scenarios, feeling the rear tire grip and all that in all situations (I do get some rumble when turning, indicating grip on the limit)... didn't test that, but it's not very very clear on a non-DD wheel, which is how I usually play the game.
Anyway, it's clear that this is not a universal issue for all players.
btw. this was my first try on the controller on PC, so who knows, maybe the game, or steam etc. has stored some bad data prior any fix that still causes the problem to happen for some.- 3 years ago@Ileleee Would you add me on Steam and write me a message so I know it's you? I'd like to research this a bit more ?

@Ileleeeif you ever played F1 2021 and 2020 with controller, you will instantly see the force feedback's difference between this game and last year's one, the controller vibrates only when the car is lost. When you go in traction wheelspin or lock, the vibration is just.. not there. Stefan also marked on his video that even PS4 Controller doesn't work and i can confirm that. this is a serious issue and i have league race next month and i know right it will be pain. i wonder how much longer shall we wait until this gets fixed, but they rather fix irrelevant glitches (such as the number 23 that can be picked and tbh no body cares about it.) this issue had to be fixed at the release but nope.

F1 2021 i had no issues what so ever. Good feeling on the car with good feedback from the controller and triggers. Ive given up this game. I only get pissed off trying to play, so Ive wasted my money on this *. Too bad they dont care fixing it. I used to play in a esports league and loved it. But now i am not competitive with this issue so i dont attend to it any more. That really sucks.
