Controller Force Feedback issues

I have the same issue on Steam - Xbox One Controller

I thought it was my controller that was the issue as F1 is really the only game I play with a controller and I don't own an Xbox anymore, so I went and spent £70 on a new Xbox X controller thinking it was my controller that was having the issue, but then find out I have the same issue no matter what controller I use.

For me this is not a consistent problem, some days it works fine and I join online games and get punted across the map by some back marker and can feel it through the controller fine, other days (50/50 pot luck I would say) it doesn't work, its more that the FFB doesn't operate at all and I have also noticed when the FFB doesn't operate the game runs jittery/guttery even though my FPS is around the 60 mark and stable.

Re-load game and the problem goes away, not ideal but liveable for the time being, just really bloody annoying especially if you just find a lobby that you were after.

I would say this has been happening for a long time, and still no fix, starting to lose my patience with the developer to actually resolve this as I can see I am not the only one still experiencing this.
