F1 2022 will generally only go for a race or two before it crashes — usually mid race. This happens solo or when racing online. It's so aggravating to be having a great race and then boom – crash. This is a dedicated game machine that isn't used for anything else (3080, modern CPU, water-cooled, etc). I play all sorts of other games with nary a crash. I actually enjoy the game but I can't take continuous crashes. Rebooting seems to maybe get me a little bit more gameplay before a crash.

@rdub3 Hey man, I`ve got the same problem. It worked fine when i first installed it. Played for 2 hours and had no problems. Now I can`t seem to play more than 20 minutes without it crashing. I`m running the game on my 3070ti, and all other games work fine. I even clean installed my nvidia drivers, uninstalled and installed f1 22 again, and i keep getting the same problem. I also enjoy the game, but I can`t play it.

I've got the same problem. After 15 min or so just crash. No error message, nothing. Just game hang then closed. I tried newer and older drivers but it did not work. CPU: AMD Ryzen 5800 XGPU: Radeon 6900 XT - 16GB VRAMRAM: 32 GBOS: Windows 10 (up to date)I hope they can fix this....

@theOne2blameDoes the screen freeze and then you have to restart?Or is it a different crash of sorts?I'm on PS4. I had crashing pre patch (July7th). Post patch it was fine.

@Kingsgab try doing a new Career/MT, and see if it still crashes.

Yeah, the image freezes and then the game closes itself without a error prompt. Seems like I fixed it (does not crash anymore!) after setting the process priority to "high" in the task manager for the f1 process!

@rdub3 Hey man, I`ve got the same problem. It worked fine when i first installed it. Played for 2 hours and had no problems. Now I can`t seem to play more than 20 minutes without it crashing. Hopefully that'll will work.
Any bug that crashes a game repeatedly is a game breaking bug. Game breaking bugs should be a full refund.

@jimmarshall Started a new career and sadly still crashes. There is about a 1 in 3 chance I'll make it through 5 laps without a crash.

@rdub3 Have you tried deleting the hardware setting file?
I had an issue with a previous version of F1 and deleting this file solved it.

The way you described it rdub is exactly what I had on PS4 but was not getting it as often as you described in your later.
For me, it happened in hourly time not minutes. It could happen 3 hours and then maybe 5 hours after that.
Did you get a patch 1.05 on PC. It came out 7th July.
I played for 40+ hours after patch, it hasn't happened again. Well not yet anways and I hope I never ever. Its a real pain the nether regions.
