@DavidG53 I think I should've been clearer about what I was talking about, sorry about that.
What I mean is, the teams will have a few different specification of rear wing that they bring to different circuits as the layout demands. Fx I believe Red Bull had 5 different rear wings in 2021, let's say they were for Monza, France, Silverstone, Hungary, and Monaco. In previous games, these were represented by the upgrade system, i.e very low, default, medium, and very high. I think all of that is fine. Then you could use the 1-11 wings angles to make large adjustments to the downforce setup. This is not very realistic.
Rear wings have a fairly fixed amount of downforce and drag, with very little adjustment. Let's say real life monza spec is equivalent to 0 wing in-game. Then you went to France and let's say that's 10 wing. In real life, there is no way to have the equivalent of 1 through 9 wing, as no such specifications exist, it would simply jump from 0 to 10. I would argue it makes no sense for the rear wing to have the 0-50 adjustment, it just doesn't reflect real rear wings.
Overall I still prefer the new 0-50 system over the previous one, as it just didn't give players a good idea of what the values actually meant, not to mention it had the exact same problem. I just think 0-5 more closely represents real rear wings, although I admit it could be confusing for new players to see the front and rear values being completely different.
I guess I ended up turning it into an issue in the end, sorry ('´ ˘ `).
