@Meza994 From my experience, the traction from the W12 feels more or less correct, at least on unworn tires. The problems I noticed with it was too much efficiency in the aero, the downforce is roughly there, but the top speed along with it is too high, and then the suspension is far too forgiving as well. A trend in sim racing is that bottoming out is not nearly as punishing as it should be, and iRacing is no different.
@DavidG53 I wanna agree with some other folks in here, the game feels really good to drive this year. In previous entries, I couldn't enjoy just driving around in an unmodded game as the cars just felt... wrong. Now i think it's actually just fun to drive around, which is nice, since that's 90% of what you do in the game.
I still have minor gripes, the top speed definitely seems too high, the cars irl top out at roughly 280kph while de-rating, but the cars in-game reach at least 290 on the ICE alone, even at high downforce levels.
And though I'd already known from early gameplay footage, I'm still a bit sad to see the return of the infamous long 8th gear. I have to assume it's to make sure 10th season cars don't top out on the limiter with the base gears, but surely a final drive ratio upgrade or something could be introduced instead?
Anyway, I'll leave my suggested ratios here again, now accounting for the final drive change. Theoretical top speed is 365 @13000 RPM.
<GearRatio1st value="2.85" />
<GearRatio2nd value="2.27" />
<GearRatio3rd value="1.82" />
<GearRatio4th value="1.57" />
<GearRatio5th value="1.36" />
<GearRatio6th value="1.175" />
<GearRatio7th value="1.02" />
<GearRatio8th value="0.9075" />
