Done some testing in Interlagos. I'm sitting in the top 12% of the world which for us is good. We are up +8% on previous years performances,
I done around 80 laps. I experimented with various car setups. Every tweak changed the behaviour of the car.
I could immediately tell upon 1st corner entry and exit whether it would work or not.
I probably have the car balance at around 95%. I truly believe there is another tenth or maybe even two tenths.
But where in the setup is it?
Its like a puzzle. A battle against the permutations.
Its good stuff. Much better than previous titles. No disrespect to David G, he did the previous titles. Over time, he is advancing his craft.
Some people think the handling is broken. And they're entitled to think that. I think its good. I'm lucky, I don't have all these bugs that other people have.
I think pad users will need some help. TC values are weaker this year compared to previous titles. Newcomers might find the going tough. But a wheel user struggling.....WTF?!!
F1 22 gets a paws up from us. Its different, its challenging but rewarding.
The more you play, the better you become. That is certainly true of this game. Players need to get used to the new handling. Its different than previous years but then again that should come as no surprise seen as its a new era in F1.
