Steps: How can we find the bug ourselves? Solo, sau paulo grand prix, sergio perez, all cars equal performance, medium race distance. dry race. after sprint race qualified 2nd. Started on softs, pitted for mediums, hit albon in the back and got front wing (right) damage. set change wing to no, tire to softs. pitted again to softs. overtook all cars to p1. second last lap got warning to change tire to M or H. set tire to M and pitted again. while in pit lane, all other AI drivers got disqualified. once i rejoined track i got disqualified as well.
What happens when the bug occurs? all drivers disqualified
What do you expect to see? not get disqualified as all drivers changed tires.

Summarize your bug Got disqualified for not pitting for tyres. I've started with softs, then pitted for mediums. Then i got warning message that i haven't pit. So I pitted one more time, for this time on hard compound. Got DQ anyway.

Steps: How can we find the bug ourselves? Just race one main event with at least 25 % length of race. Surprise awaits 2 laps before the finish.
What happens when the bug occurs? Getting DQ.
What do you expect to see? Definitely NOT getting DQ.

I had the same bug at Imola. I used the 3 different tyres because I had a crash with Alonso (DNF) and I was disqualified.
What's,s really sad is that Alonso was P1 and got 25 points thanks to he DNF
CodeMasters know about this and are investigating.
ai and myself were all disqualified due to breaking the rule of using at least two different tyre compounds during dry conditions.. the problem is - we did use them. im attaching screens to clear it up even more. no clue whether the bug is rare or not this is literally the very fist time ive stumbled upon this and i wish it was the last time though. any hints to avoid it in the future? it messes driver career a lot this way. btw i also used a replay to see if it fixes up by any chance and the answer is no. all bots get dsq as long as im on the run with them.

Two days ago I had a similar DSQ.
Sprint race (Imoka ), so no need to use 2 compounds
Several players choose M but game decided S instead
A couple of them pit before the end of the race BCS excessive tyre wear and replace with another S
DSQ for them
Also DSQ for myself and another guy that race with M, without pitting
Only one player was not DSQ BCS started with S and when pit he had a mistake and choose M.

Steps: How can we find the bug ourselves? begin a driver career and go ahead with that i havent spotted it in grand prix mode by far it also is hard to say whether the bug is rare or straight common as this is the very first time i spotted it myself. btw its very likely the bug exists only at tracks with sprint race prior to the main race - its just an assumption as theres multiple threads riddled with people complaining about the bug i encountered and they all played on the tracks containing sprint races in race calendar
What happens when the bug occurs? ai and player get disqualifaction for not using two different tyre compounds during dry conditions which results in disqualification at the end of a race also the bots get dsq as long as player is on the run
What do you expect to see? not stumbling upon this no more

I have the same issue, not related to sprint races. If I go to change my race strategy it doesn't let me select anything or start race. I have to quit the game and restart, and then when I finish the race I get disqualified for using the mandatory tyres soft and medium.
Not to mention the AI are just playing bumper cars all the time. Bought every game for years, and now EA have made it like FIFA.
