. I may be wrong as I Havnt suffered a Dsq. If the problem is due to picking softer or harder tyre allocation at Bahrain. As those allocations Havnt been available I doubt they added the sprint race in those allocations. But if you chose either off those options at Bahrain that’s you allocation for every race as I think someone didn’t know to enable thechoices on every race: Which I think the conflict lays.
@ScarDuck14 Well I just tested your theory in Imola and I didn't have any DSQ bug take place. And I indeed chose the harder tyre allocation for the first race of the season.
But I think I have an idea where the DSQ bug might be coming from: I am currently on a new season (year 4 of Driver Career), and everything works fine (except not being able to change the allocation past the 1st race).
Could it be that this bug only takes place on ongoing seasons? From all the replies I've read here it seems that this could be the case.
- ScarDuck143 years agoLegend@diogosilvaF1 More than possible: I always find patches seem to cause more issues when you continue a saved game. So much so when big updates drop I nuke everything and restart. It’s not for everyone but I have nothing but time and I generally don’t see bugs others see.
But also harder allocation may be ok. As default starting options for sprint race are med or hard. Which you have more than default - ScarDuck143 years agoLegend
@diogosilvaF1Just brought up full single race in at imola…. And check the pictures below.
softer only has soft options allocated for sprint races

About softer tyre allocation in sprint weekends:
That is definitely a mistake, the pre-patch allocation (which mirrors the softer allocation in standard weekends) had 1 Medium + 1 Soft for the Sprint.
For reference the Balanced has 2 Mediums for the Sprint while the Hardest has 1 Medium + 1 Hard.
Who knows, maybe the game still thinks it's using the pre-patch allocation in ongoing seasons. And maybe having a Medium available might be required for a Sprint race.
- ScarDuck143 years agoLegend@diogosilvaF1 That’s what I was thinking. Also I won’t in strategy window pre sprint: Default would be a medium and the other would have a hard. As you will need to use both sets off soft in the race. It may conflict with F1 main race rules off using the two different compounds in a race. I’m really just guessing but it kinda makes sense
To me anyway
- 3 years ago@diogosilvaF1 So you Moved in to season 4 and you didn‘t Start an complete New career?
I can live With one DSQ in brazil when in Abu Dhabi all is Fine and when i move on to next Season also no bugs anymore.
If This doesn‘t work Then EA please fix it or switch back to 1.14 (1.15 is Not That much important) until you solve problem.
1.14 will the fastest way insteat of Waiting or difficult shut down of a Part of 1.15- 3 years ago
For what is worth, I did a couple of F2 races yesterday at Bahrain and Austria (50% races, both sprint and feature) and all worked fine, no DSQ bug in F2. Guess I'll stay in F2 until EA decide to hotfix this mess.

@EA_Kent Boss.
don’t know if it’s a issue. But the 2 picture I sent you yesterday were from GP mode. And noted S for sprint race…. softer had two sets off soft. Balanced and harder had two different compounds.
In Main race rules are you have to select a different option. Basically you have to use 2 different tyres in race.
In tyre allocation screen. In my team. Both sprint race and main race allocations are called R.
If main race rules the are applied to R allocations. Having no option tyre is breaking the rules that would result is Dsq
