No I dont think I will give any leniency.   Software development is complex yes, but that is why you test before you push it to the public.   They released an untested patch that broke the game.  This is not acceptable.  If they did any QC on the thing they would have seen this issue and fix the bugs, not push it and break everyone's game.   This is...in a word....unacceptable.

@CrasVox Couldn’t agree more! It’s absolutely ridiculous, a game people have paid actual money for is completely broken and totally unplayable.

Update should have been checked throughly before realising to the public!
