This is still the case. It has happened twice now to my friend on out 2 player career. At imola and also Austria. This is stupid now.
OK, so I will do a bit of an experiment as I have just completed the Brazil sprint in both careers. Just a reminder: I do 25% races in F1.
MyTeam Sprint: Hards (Default strat here was softs)
MyTeam Race: Mediums-Softs (my standard strat)
Merc Sprint: Mediums (Default strat here was softs)
Merc Race: Hards-Softs(-Inters)
Rain is forecast for the Merc race but since I don't know when exactly it would rain (even with perfect forecast set), I put the inters in parentheses.
