Does Dirty Air exist in the Game?

In the game, does turbulent/dirty air exist? Obviously in real life there is less dirty air with the new regulations, but I want to know whether it has been programmed into the game and whether it does affect following cars properly.

There are some people claiming they do exist experience it and some not experiencing it. I want to know whether these are excuses or it actually exists.

  • @andodogYes, 15% loss of downforce + 10% drag reduction.

It's been the exact same value since F1 2020 even with this year's new reg changes, but if you're on PC you could easily modify them.

I'm not a guru by any means on this, but shouldn't there be less dirty air due to the new regs?

@Nylink No because in the game it was about a third of real life downforce loss and ~45% of "drag reduction"/slipstream compared to real life.. They are still a bit lower than real life IMO but much more accurate than 2021

@Nylink No your thinking is correct, this year's dirty air values are actually closer to real life. The actual problem was the last two years' settings, it was probably done that way to make the racing closer and not like real life.
